- Granny Smith apples, cored, divided
- 1½ cups
- frozen baby spinach
- 375 mL
- 1 cup
- frozen chopped kale
- 250 mL
- 1½ cups
- unsweetened almond beverage
- 375 mL
- 1 cup
- vanilla Greek yogourt
- 250 mL
- ½
- ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
- ½ cup
- quick oats
- 125 mL
- ½ tsp
- ground cinnamon
- 2 mL
- ½ cup
- granola
- 125 mL
Method
- Step 1
- Thinly slice 1 apple; set aside. Roughly chop remaining apples. In a blender, add chopped apples, spinach, kale, almond beverage, yogourt, avocado, oats and cinnamon.
- Step 2
- Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 bowls. Top with reserved apple slices and granola. Sprinkle lightly with additional cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.
