- lean ground beef
- 2 cloves
- garlic, minced or pressed

- 3/4 cup
- Compliments Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp
- Compliments Corn Starch
- 1/2 cup
- Compliments Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Method
- Step 1
- In 5- to 6-quart pan, bring 3 quarts of salted water to a boil over high heat.
- Step 2
- Add macaroni and cook, stirring often, until pasta is tender to bite, about 10 minutes.
- Step 3
- Drain well then rinse with cool water and drain again.
- Step 4
- Meanwhile, in a deep, 12-inch nonstick frying pan, combine onion, olive oil, nutmeg, and salt and pepper to taste over medium-high heat.

- Stir often until onion is lightly browned, 5-6 minutes.
- Step 6
- Add beef and garlic. Cook,stirring often, until meat is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Step 7
- Add spinach and increase heat to high; stir until spinach is wilted and liquid is evaporated,about 2 minutes.
- Step 8
- Mix together broth and cornstarch until blended, then add to pan along with cooked macaroni.
- Step 9
- Stir over heat until pan juices thicken and pasta is hot, about 1 minute.
- Step 10
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
- Step 11
- Spoon into bowls and serve immediately.
